Chateau Ratměřice is located in the village of Ratměřice in the Benešov region, Central Bohemia. Originally a Baroque chateau, it was rebuilt into a late Classicist form in the middle of the 19th century. The chateau is especially notable for its park, which was founded in the English landscape style by Otto Ferdinand, Count of Chotkov and Vojnín. Thanks to him, the two tallest specimen of the giant sequoia in the Czech Republic can be seen in the park today. Both were declared memorial trees in 2002.
