The Old Town Hall is one of the most famous monuments of the historic centre of Prague.
The municipal authority resided in this corner burgher house with a tower since the 1st half of the 14th century. Today the Town Hall consists of several burgher houses gradually purchased and rebuilt throughout the centuries. One of the peculiar elements of the southern side of the building is the Astronomical clock.
The complex of the Old Town Hall buildings is nowadays used for cultural and representational events of the City of Prague.
