The Photogether Gallery was founded in November 2010 and it has aimed at becoming a platform for contemporary culture. The Photogether Gallery is located under the Zlín health centre in a former fallout shelter which was generously provided to us. The gallery is run by students of the Department of Advertising Photography who have so far organized multiple exhibitions, concerts, lectures and other various events. The goal of the students is to shift from purely school projects to diverse, more open exhibitions and curatorship events, and thus show the town of Zlín can be something more than just a place to escape from, as many might perceive it as such nowadays.
