A dance piece about decision, be together, to hold and the conflict with the limits.

 

The piece was born in the midst of a workshop with Guillermo Weickert, entitled “Jump into the void” or how to place yourself in front of the creative process. We decided to keep on working with other dancers. We jumped into investigating the pattern and all of its possibilities. We started a game. All games have rules. In this piece, “the rules” are those patterns and the combinations that can be generated among all of them. We created a spatial structure that can vary depending on who decides to set the direction.

 

It ́s a work of group listening and decision to maintain ourselves in that state: the pleasure of creating in the moment. The pleasure of decision. There is also the repetition and running work. Since we consider that you can transcend the limits of your physical and mental states, you can place yourself in a very vulnerable place charged with emotion but no imposition. It ́s a piece about running, running as moving along, among along together as jumping into the void, overcoming fatigue and sustaining it. And through sustaining, being able to decide.
