Melody as a legacy of European music, jazz harmony, improvisation, elaborate sound, thoughtful construction of music form, color of compositions – these are the main features of the Tomáš Sýkora Trio. After all of Tomáš´ work with big ensembles, he has decided to get back to something smaller and more intimate. His repertoire is based on his original music with the exception of three compositions by the Czech composer Vítězslav Novák.
