Sev­eral times over now, Bobby Shew has con­vinced us of his value along with that of other artists he ei­ther brings along to Prague or rec­om­mends to us. This year we’ve gone for a top level Eu­ro­pean big­band, whose cal­i­bre has been at­tested to by many promi­nent soloists in­clud­ing Bobby Shew, Chuck Find­ley, Eric Mari­en­thal, Joe Lo­vano, not to men­tion the trum­peter Bert Joris.

The Brus­sels Jazz Or­ches­tra – oth­er­wise known as BJO – will be per­form­ing in the Czech Re­pub­lic for the first time, bring­ing along their Smooth Shake pro­gramme with Bert Joris.
