Metalographies are photographs created by infusion of dyes into the surface of highly polished aluminum under high pressure and temperature, creating thus the picture with unusual depth and plasticity. Czech-American chemist and photographer Michal Lebl gives in his "quadruptychs" into context related or seemingly unrelated objects and tries to make you want to find other associations. Is it just a structure, color, shape, age, place of origin, or function of these objects? Or, has every “quadruptych" more layers of context? It's up to you whether you find them all.
