Pragovka Gallery and The White Room invite you to another Korzo Pragovka on Thursday 13 October. As part of the programme you will be able to attend a guided tour with artists and curators of the ongoing exhibition Lidé jsou křehké bytosti, ale měkké cíle, meet artist in residence Tetiana Shtykalo and see an outdoor intervention by Beata Spáčilová. There will be a programme for the little ones with lecturer Martin Vlček.

The exhibition Lidé jsou křehké bytosti, ale měkké cíle (18 Sep - 17 Dec 2022) is part of the exhibition act "Connections".

What makes the medium of textiles so fascinating? The third and final act of the year-long exhibition series traces current trends concerning textile principles and techniques and places them in the context of contemporary art.

Softness and fragility can be seen as synonyms to textile techniques. An important starting point of the exhibition is the anchoring of the archetypal understanding of the medium of textiles as a shared ritual. There are frequent references to the alteration of consciousness caused by repetitive monotonous acts.

Drawing on the work of artists emerging from the open call, the exhibition interweaves themes within the medium of textiles that have emerged as timely.

The White Room presents three solo exhibitions curated by Jagna Domżalska as part of the "URGE" project (18 September - 17 December 2022). Their common theme is the exploration of instincts, deeply ingrained needs and desires.
