The recital of saxophonist Kateřina Vlastová takes place on the occasion of her graduation from the Jaroslav Ježek conservatory in Prague. Two ensembles which Kateřina is a part of will perform at the concert. The first is the Mackie Messer Klezmer Band, a music group from Turnov, specializing in the interpretation of fresh-sounding Jewish Music. The second ensemble, Soul Ožil, was formed at the conservatory and has established itself on the professional scene. The band whose repertoire consists of soul and funk tunes has performed at various venues including Jazz Dock, where it has appeared multiple times. The repertoire of both ensembles not only makes the heart beat, it also makes the feet stamp.
