The great Otto Hejnic Trio is slowly becoming one of the mainstays of the Czech-Slovak jazz scene, mainly because it has been performing in the same line-up for 12 years. Slovak pianist Ondrej Krajňák excels on piano, Josef Fečo on double bass and Otto Hejnic on drums. Yes, the three musical personalities connect traditional jazz, based on the music of Oscar Peterson, but venture into the more modern waters of jazz. As evidenced by the author's music, especially drummer Otto Hejnice. Such is their last fifth album, which will baptize this ensemble in Jazz Dock. The album is again released by the increasingly prestigious label Hevhetia.
