Residential exhibition (nr. 8), which is part and parcel of KOLBEN OPEN every second year, deals with the topic of KO-LABORACE
(CO-LABORATION). While collaboration in English is a standard term for cooperation, the meaning in Czech is inconsistent, with rather negative connotation. Connotation of the title is subversive “itself” – this makes it possible to relate to the topic of “collaboration” in many ways. It leaves space for the presentation of diversity and inconsistency of the authorial approaches of the participating residents of Kolbenka, who are not always in mutual understanding.
