On a brand-new album Irena Budweiserová features her favourite music genres - blues, jazz, ballads, world music. What you can expect is a very distinctive, energetic and original approach to gospel music, blues, and self written songs. All this is supported by „virtuoso“guitarist Jakub Racek with whom Irena also sings a few duets. The new CD contains Irena´s favourite spirituals such as: Nobody Knows The Trouble I See; Didn’t it Rain, and others. The opening track is Lord, Help The Poor and Needy by Jessie Mae Hemphill. The majority of songs on the CD are sung in English. Marek Šlechta wrote Czech lyrics for the well-known song Weary Traveler. Los Bilbilicos is a Sephardic song. Other songs are self- penned by Irena, Pavla Vojnová and Mirek Linka.
