Lecture by Vít Pokorný, who deals with interpretations of psychedelic experiences, will take place as part of A Girl Named Sandoz exhibition. Screening of films produced by Sandoz Company in the 50s and 60s will follow. Cinémathèque Sandoz, a branch of the pharmaceutical company was in charge of producing these works that deal with altered state of consciousness and have unexpected artistic qualities. Lea Petrik, the artist, and Klára Vavříková, the curator of her exhibition, will hold a talk about the origin of artworks by Lea Petříková, but also her research on films produced by Sandoz. Lea will answer questions about the screened films and in what way did this research influence and inspire her artistic practice.

The program will continue with guided tour of the exhibition Nikdy to nebylo, pořád to je with curator Katarína Gatialová. She will give us an insight into the individual pieces as well as the context of utopia.

As part of Patrik exhibition, a meet the artist will take place. Veronika Přikrylová will describe the context and origin of her exhibition.
