The post-digital-site spefic project Your Bloom by Tomáš Pavlacký (* 1987) is focused on a place of its origin and presentation of „Pragovka“ its internal and external surroundings, environmental and social. Pavlacký presents one object which consists of three parts, all of them logically based on each other. Basically the character of the object came from one significant segment of the local architecture - the column. He naturally chose a space in which the column has a unique central position and thus predicts its surroundings. The technical, historical and especially the metaphorical characteristics of the column are related to his intervention, which is the completion of the clay vase from which the column grows. The „order“ does not forget the floral wallpaper, which is not only intended to complement the obvious context. This print is actually a selected segment of a modified video which was filmed in Pragovka. The video shows primarily residents of Prague and their surroundings. The digital compression of this video, called Datamosh (the process of manipulating media data), gets the final image of the wallpaper - it is not readable, visually reminds some flower, which still contains the information, although it is irreversibly hidden. This element plays the role of a record that has historically been applied to the various types of column. The final floristic motif has its clear "columnar" parallels. Pavlacký let everything grow from the dominant vase, which is made of sculptural clay using the profile in the exact place in the gallery. The vase of clay will be kept in wet by residents and members of Pragovka team during the exhibition. Poetically speaking - they will water their flower - themselves, as the pillar on which stands Genius loci and the life of contemporary "Kolbenka". Curator: Klára Burianová Tomáš Pavlacký (*1987) has been continuously engaged in the materialisation of intangible phenomena in the digital interface since studying at FAVU in Brno. The collapse of bit, information streams, aesthetics of failure, as an event more or less random, but above all, very unstable and transient. In this field, there are many parallels with common life practices. He expands the story of the meaning of the information transmission error on its path from the beginning to the target.
