Accept our invitation to "unformal" musical festival Ode to Joy on Saturday 5th October 2019 taking place in Semilasso in Brno - Královo Pole.

This Festival celebrates a few anniversaries:

- 155 years from founding of mixed choir Lumír (Brno),

- 100 years from founding of brass band Musikalische Vereinigung Botnang (Stuttgart),

- 30 years of partnership of cities Brno and Stuttgart,

- 100 years of connection town Královo Pole to city Brno and

- 30 years from the Velvet Revolution.

Our invitation accepted:

- Musikalische Vereinigung Botnang (Stuttgart, Německo) - brass band, leads Daniel Müller,

- Mr. Swing - Big Band leads Martina Engelhartová,

- The Vienna Singing Association Lumír (Vienna, Austria), mixed choir, leads Veronika Hagenhofer,

- The Brno Philharmonic Choir Beseda brněnská, traditional mixed choir, leads Petr Kolař,

- Gloria Brunensis - women choir, leads Natalia Chirilenko,

- Mixed Choir Choirchestra, leads Klára Roztočilová.

Each ensemble will have a space for its performance. At the end of the festival we will play and sing together Ode to Joy from L. van Beethoven and the popular song Škoda lásky (Beer Barrel Polka) from J. Vejvoda.

We start at 3 p.m.
