MIRIAM KAMINSKÁ (born 1989 in Prague) has long been focusing on sculpture possibilities of a physical form. In 2018, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Since then, we could see her works at several exhibitions, for example Folie à deux, Prám Studio, Prague, 2019; RE_FORM, Trafo Gallery, Prague, 2020, or Klášterní zahrada 2020 / Monastery Garden 2020 in Broumov. The selection of sculptural works for the FOYER space in Pragovka displays MIRIAM KAMINSKÁ’s characteristic expression levels – on one hand, sculptures and objects on the wall carry the meanings of making complex psychology visible; on the other hand, they are clear supporting symbols of life in general. Wall objects also point to the etymological context – the common root of the words blood, red, earth and human in the Hebrew language.
