Fanfán Tulipán artfully links classical jazz instrumentation, fresh ideas and virtuosity with unusual instruments such as the Hammond melodica, Estonian cittern (kannel), xylophone and playbox. Fanfán Tulipán won the Prague Metropolitan University Award as well as the Czech round of the Jazz Prix International Competition. Their debut album is called Polyorama and they have just released a new EP Vulpea Lunatică, which is free to download on Bandcamp.
