He became famous with his indie-rock band The Mojos and the hit One Day / Reckoning song, which is played by radio stations to this day. In September 2020, the Israeli musician, singer and songwriter Asaf Avidan released a new album Anagnorisis, which continues to be dominated by acoustic instruments combined with electronics. Add the powerful lyrics full of personal stories and a haunting voice, and you get an emotional charge that strikes straight to the heart. 

After a decade of continuous performing around the world, Asaf decided to take a break for almost a year. Reflecting on life, his career and art, he tried to experience time and space differently from his years of constant travel. He changed his approach not only to life, but also to writing music. The result is an album in which his search for himself is translated into an endless stream of musical diversity. 

The European tour for Anagnorisis, scheduled for 2021, had to be postponed by a year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Asaf Avidan will visit the Czech Republic in April 2022.
