The project was first initiated by jeweller Marcela Steffanová about a year ago and has gone through many phases since then. The result is the creative space in Holešovice, which program is now set by former students of prof.V.K.Novák Eliška Lhotská, Markéta Šumová, Iveta Mulačová a Zuzana Babková together with sculptress Michaela Bachoríková from university in Ostrava. These young artists were not looking just for atelier to work in, they wanted to create a space, where they can introduce art jewellery the way they know it from abroad – in a form of fresh and selling gallery.

„My vision is to create gallery, which is alive. We will have exhibitions every two months, which will explore the work of both famous names and yet unknown students. Září Gallery will show jewellery not just from Prague, but also from other cities and the pieces will be possible to buy. This is crucial, I would say, visitor will be able to buy original jewellery, mainly limited editions or even unique pieces, collector's item,“ says jeweller, curator and Září Gallery dramaturge Eliška Lhotská.
