The 7th Czech Ukulele Festival will take place during the last weekend of July 26. - 28. 2019. The festival is a 3 day event located in Únětice brewery. Traditionally the Friday is a roving day when we take the festival to a different location each year to introduce the genre to audiences who would not normaly attend such events. In 2019 we plan to visit our large neighbour, Prague 6, with a free open air show at Dívčí skok pub in the natural treasure of Šárka valley. Friday concerts are with free entrance. 

The Saturday and Sunday will host a wide selection of workshops for all levels and a second-to-none selection of performances.

We have created a strong and varied program, starting with local children and amateurs up to professionals from all over the world. The program will include Dead Mans Uke (UK), Molly Lewis (USA), The Hot Potato Syncopators (UK), The Lucky Leles (D), Ecce Uku (ČR), PUB (ČR),    U-Kúže (ČR), Ukulollo (IT), Ukulele Jack (ČR), PPNOU (PL), The Hula Hut & The Seven Seas (D), Cloe (ČR) and Muckreckers (UK) and many else. We are also amazed to be able to annouce that we will be hosting the fantastic Victoria Vox from the USA.

As always we are committed to encouraging new players and there will be a strong program of workshops available from absolute beginner level through intermediate to master classes, and there will be plenty of open mic space so that members of the audience can take part and demonstrate their skills.

This year we have a cooling air system at the brewery courtyard to counter the hot weather :)
