The 1st Watercolour Festival of the Czech Republic will be held by IWS Czech Republic on 3-9 August 2018 Dear watercolour artists from all over the world, art lovers it is a big honour for us to organize this historic event, where under the roof of the most beautiful gallery Manes in mysterious Prague we will be celebrating our international relations in contemporary art of watercolour media. Relations where all are equal. Through this demanding and beautiful art we can represent our cultures, traditions, values, share love, peace and tolerance.

During the Festival we will have the opportunity to exhibit our works of art, enjoy cultural programme with music, demonstrations of Masters of Watercolour from different countries, creation of large size watercolour painting, demonstration of making hand-made watercolour paper, discover the beauty of magical Prague and other picturesque Czech towns, as a part of the painting holiday. At the festival, we will have representatives of sponsoring companies who produce materials for artists and who will present the prizes to the awarded artists. One of them is the Ukrainian company ROSA https : www.facebook.com/rosaukraine/ This festival is dedicated to Czech-Ukrainian relations and is under the auspices of IWS Globe - International Watercolor Society, IWS Czech Republic - International Watercolor Society for the Czech Republic, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic, Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and Municipality of Prague, Art Elephants ltd. All Embassies of those countries whose artists will participate will receive an invitation to the inauguration to support their artists.
