Sosoi, + Koncert Kill the Dandies) Memoarium Loci B then metaphorically transfers the theme of home, flat. vernissage 11.3. 2018 18:00 *** Martin Vlček is a graduate of culturology at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University, the New Media Studio at ZUČ in Pilsen and the Theater Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. In his work he deals with the mentality of space, his personal history, examines the means that are used in contemporary conceptual and theoretical work. Vlček has long been working with scenography, installation, site-specific overlaps, and seamlessly capturing the marginal elements or moments that often escape ordinary viewers. Since 2008, Vlček has devoted his work to the theme of man-space-memory. There are places and buildings that disappear from the map or are abandoned. If we enter them, they are never the same, they change, and so do we. For the show in The White Room he has prepared several representatives to whom he has a strong relationship. An experience with full authenticity in a certain space is untenable and undocumented, yet attempts to transform it into a material artifact, a portrait, and to a certain extent a self-portrait.
