The 18^th edition of the Summer Festivities of Early Music is dedicated to the seat of the royal power and the French kings’ residence in the 17^th and 18^thcentury at Versailles which was also the centre of musical life in France. The festival programme will introduce important musical works connected with France and Versailles of the period which are, for the great part, unknown to the local public.
