Bardzo fajný festival invites you to Bio Oko from 25th to 28th November to watch four new Polish feature films - the powerful drama 25 Years of Innocence based on a real miscarriage of justice, the visually impressive Marygoround about female menopause, the road movie I Never Cry about accelerated adolescence and the musical treat Ikarus about a legendary Polish pianist. For children of all ages, we are preparing animated video clips, followed by an animation workshop with Polish tutor Ola. The festival will also include a workshop for women prepared by the Praga jest kobietą group. Traditionally, during the festival, viewers will be treated to themed Polish delicacies by Aga and Tomasz in the cinema café, always an hour before the screening, and on Saturday, 27 November, also a selection of Czech translations of new Polish books. While waiting for the film, you can see a comic exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous science fiction writer Stanisław Lem prepared by the Polish Institute in Prague.
