Bohuslav Martinů Days 2021 | Quasi Trio

The programme is woven from the works of two Czech maestros – Smetana and Martinů – by the ladies of Quasi Trio. The violinist Marie Hasoňová will perform Martinů’s Czech Rhapsody with the pianist Kateřina Ochmanová, who will be relieved by the cellist Judita Škodová in Duo for Violin and Violoncello. The two string musicians won the 2019 ISA Award for the interpretation of a work by Martinů, and the whole trio placed second in the 2014 Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition. All three women will join up in the second half of the concert to perform Smetana’s beautiful Trio in G minor.
