Kristina Barta is an internationally renowned pianist and composer who placed 1st in the composer´s competition hosted by OSA. Her trio with Jan Fečo and Marek Urbánek was a finalist in the 2016 Euroradio Jazz Competition. Kristina is also winner of the 2017 Powiew Mlodegu Jazzu, where she received a prize for her piano playing. In 2017, the trio released its debut album EMA29, recording with vibraphonist David Friedman, saxophonist Karel Růžička jr., guitarist Kdyštof Tomeček and trumpeter Miroslav Hloucal.
