Nexa Patchi is a music band, which was transformed from the band LOOMA. LOOMA was founded by Slovak musicians Katarína Korlo (vocals, guitar) and Martin Barinec (drums, guitar) in 2015 in Prague. Their music style was called “FOLKnROLL” and they were performing their melancholic-sarcastic songs mostly in Czech Republic and Slovakia. At the time they succeed in Slovak record chart Demovnica on the Radio FM and subsequently they performed at Go2Stage concert of Radio FM. In 2017 a big change happened, when Tokpa Korlo, American versatile artist, started to play with them. Tokpa studied jazz composition in California and he brought to the Looma music more jazzy and funky mood. His influence started to be so significant, that the band decided to change the name and the whole concept.
