Jan Matýsek: Choreography of one match
The Choreography of one match project is a study of the body phenomena. The male body. Belonging to a distant hero and idol, in the contradiction of a real, tangible body which strive to fulfill the ideals. The virtual body moves in front of the green, fast-moving background following the marked trajectory. They dance with the precision of well-thought gestures that "defend the post." Is the body of a professional athlete, football player, real? Isn´t it just a digital information on a television screen, a pixel, a bacterium vibrating around a huge stadium?
Jan Matýsek sees the (male) football as a masculine initiation, while the peak of the transient ritual lays in the moment of the excavation at the gate. Breath holding, concentration, tension, filling and relaxation. Transcendence. Time stops, everything melts into an unreadable image - you get closer - the sweat leaks through the screen.

Jan Matýsek (*1994) seeks through his creation a new connection in the possibilities of perception of contradiction, purification or substitution of the usual formations and known structures. He works with the ambivalence of social clichés, noir romance, with themes of stylization or social "choreography" and narrative neoplasties. He works as a stage designer and his work can be seen, for example, in HaDivadlo or the Marta theater studio. He studied at the FaVU VUT in Brno at the Drawing Studio and graduated at the Studio of Scenography in Brno. Currently he studies at AVU in Prague, Studio of New Media II.

Barbora Ciprová (∗1991) lives and works in Prague. Since 2015 he has been the producing and worked as an assistant of the curator of the Jindřich Chalupecký Company. She graduated at the FHS UK (Bachelor degree) and she finished the Master´s degree at Faculty of Art in Brno (Environment Studio) and she has been at the MeetFactory Gallery as an intern. In her curatorial practice, she focuses primarily on site-specific art, often in connection with music, and on topics related to human psychics and emotionality.

Martin M. Mrskoš's lecture on the manifestations of transhumanism in contemporary society, science and culture will lead the students with a brief introduction to the subject, topics such as spiritual femininity and transhumanism in pop culture.
The author is a publicist and proffesor at JAMU in Brno.
