ConTRIOlogy (CZE), Ladislav Palkovič (SVK)

The special moment in the life of one of the most significant Czech writers of the 20th century is an event one cannot overlook, especially considering that the event is happening as a result of the writer’s own wish. The Department of Music Education and Czech Language of the Pedagogical Faculty of the Ostrava University prepared a programme which will reflect on the life and works of Milan Kundera. The programme will include professional lectures and readings, and the world premiere of Jiří Miroslav Procházka’s melodrama, based on the Monologues, ort he work of Václav Kaprál – a family friend, who taught the writer piano.
