Metropolis. The City of huge dimensions that has many workers under it who are continuously working to keep a high class level of elites and scientists on its surface. The president’s son Freder (Gustav Frohlich) falls in love with working class girl Mary (Brigitte Helm) who is trying to convince other workers that there is a better life for them. However, Freder’s father and the president of the city Johhan „Joh“ Fredersen (Alfred Abel) is informed about Mary‘s  plans and is worried about  the workers’ revolt . Therefore, he asks Rotwang the scientist for help: who shows him an anthropomorphic robot. However, Rotwang uses the robot for personal revenge.

The dramatic atmosphere of the city will be created musically by Hana Mlnaříková and drummer Martin Švec.  Hana Mlnaříková is a graduate of Master studies in Multimedial composition at Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. Her special hobby is creating various fictional worlds to which she brings her composing, art and motional skills. She is an composer of stage and film music. Martin Švec started studying the technique of four sticks and playing solo compositions on Marimba at his conservatory. He performed as a percussionist in the chamber opera Zhasnutí composed by Jiří Najvara at the New Music Encounter festival, and he has also played with Icelandic flautist Áshildur Haraldsdóttir.
