DC OPEN-ER is here! Finally!

Concerts, language and music workshops, theater and goodies from Spain, Tunisia, Poland and France. Making own musical instruments from recycled materials and taking part in jam session. Learn about voluntary opportunities in Czech Republic and abroad. There will be also a photography exhibition prepared by the volunteers. This year we will also celebrate the 10 years of the European Voluntary Service in Lužánky. We are looking forward to seeing you! :)

15:30 - 16:00 DC 67 - 10 YEARS OF EVS IN BRNO
What is the European Voluntary Service? How does it work and how much can be done in ten years? You can visit photography exhibitions prepared by the international volunteers.

16: 00-18: 00 DC 67 - INTERCULTURAL BRIDGES (LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS)
Order tortillas in Spanish? Do you know how to name French specialities or how to wish a good taste in Arabic? Learning a new language means that there is a whole new world to explore. Come and meet foreigners living in Brno, taste a bit of their culture and typical cuisine and learn about voluntary opportunities abroad.

17: 00-18: 00 SVČ Lužánky, in Bijásek - THE FROG AND THE STRANGER (EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN FROM 5 YEARS)
Fairy tale about a rat who moves into an entirely different world. Does it manage to live there with other residents? Children as major actors perform in the roles of animals.

16: 00-18: 00 Terrace SVČ Lužánky - RECY-MUSIC WORKSHOP & JAM WORKSHOP
In the junkyard or better on a jam-session? Make your own musical instruments from recycled materials and talk to the others via the universal language of the music.
